Biography

Gary is a long-time resident of San Diego and has been in the financial services industry for 18 years. Prior to joining AWM, Mr. Polakoff was a Vice President and Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley where he led the Polakoff Group and was responsible for managing the client portfolios. He focuses on liabilities, debt management, risk management, and assisting clients with wealth management and lending solutions. Prior to starting a new career as a financial advisor, Gary was a successful San Diego business owner in the auto industry for 29 years. He is a Rotarian, Shriner and former board member of the San Diego Chapter of the National Conference of Christians and Jews. He and his wife Carol have four children, and seven grandchildren.
